Trade Analysis: Dalpe for a 3rd in ’13

Trade: NfG sends Dalpe CR to Orv for a 3rd in ’13

Analysis: this is one of those win:win trades that will take a long while before some one can say they got the better of that trade.  NfG basically calls a “do-over” on his ’11 3rd rd. pick of Dalpe, while Orv gets that “playing rookie” he’s so desperately sought.

There were some who saw this trade transpire and said, “So Fulty basically admitted he screwed up on picking Dalpe or moving him before cut-down, while Orv doesn’t seem to care what league his rookie is playing in, just as long as he’s playing!”  But if you saw the excitement in their faces as they consummated the deed at the Horton, you too would have wished them the best on this “winning bromance.”

"See, Dalpe's playing for the Hurricanes.... wait, what... did they change their logo?" -- Orv
