Seems We’re Getting Tired of Dinky Leading This Thing

6er’s had a bit of a charmed run so far in this pool this year, especially since Christmas, but it appears the rest of the league is growing tired of it.  This past week he had his first significant injury (if you can call “might miss 2 games” significant) as Jimmy Howard broke his finger in the Vancouver game.

But last night, after a slew foot from 6er’s Zac Rinaldo, an event happened that could upset the balance in the pool going forward.  The slew foot brought about the typical “scrum and hug” melee, but when 6er’s Brayden Schenn challenged Ilya Kovalchuk, something happened…..

Nice to see a Russian get a Gordie Howe Hat-trick.
