One week to go in the OFHL season and it’s too tight to call as 1st to 4th are separated by 3 points.  Any one of 4 teams could be the 2012 OFHL CHAMPION!

Here’s the break-down of the week to come for each team showing the strength of schedule:

  • CORDY – 51-25-2-104 Points
    • Plays D, V, & G with an avg of .524 (Toughest sked – key game v. G)
  • GOJO – 50-25-3-103 points
    • Plays H, R, & C with an avg of .330 (Weakest sked – key game v. C)
  • FULTY – 49-24-5-103 Points
    • Plays E, O, & Z with avg of .491 (Only team to play 2 others with records above .500)
  • 6ER – 49-26-3-101 Points
    • Plays R, T, & E with avg of .370 (needs 5 out of 6 points for a shot at winning)

DERKO CUP RULES

Finish as Top Loser and you get to add something to Derko’s Cup.

TIE-BREAKER RULES

We’ve only had to use the tie-breaker rules once before, but here they are again:

If two teams are tied in league points at the end of the regular season the tie breaking mechanism required to determine final positions will be as follows:

i.         most total player points

ii.         head to head record

iii.         wins

iv.         coin toss
