6er Packs It In

After 6 years in the OFHL, the last two of which saw him place in the money, Dinky has decided his heart isn’t in it anymore.  The first of the Kelowna transplant franchises had a good run, coming into the OFHL in 2006-7 and finishing near the bottom for 3 straight years before his 3year run in the top half.  He was a solid team builder but his greatest moment in the OFHL came one summer night at Oliver’s Pub where he convinced a chubby young waitress that we needed more finger bowls at our table and would not stop until each GM had two.  He also was fortunate enough to get the waitress to select his name out of a hat, which later converted into a young Jon Tavares.  Not too shabby.

We will miss you, Dinky.  Just sayin’ It is what it is, LOL.
