Week 8 – Remembering “The Big Irishman”

Two great tributes to Pat Quinn this past week by the Canucks & Leafs.

RAMBLINGS

  • The top four teams were a collective 11-1 this past week and didn’t move in the standings, but did managed to put some gap control in place with the middlers.  JBR & Stifler each managed a win this week
  • Big week: FULTY 51
  • Stinky week: ROLPHY 14
  • ORV & ERTY have been slowly moving up the standings, while Rolphy is sliding after a hot start to the season.
  • The Pick-up for week 8 goes to a lottery again with JBR (1-3), Stifler (45), and T-Man (6).  A TWO(2) is rolled, so JBR gets the week 8 pick-up.

Trade: T-man trades his 2015 5th-rounder and the pick-up to EZ for Byfuglien WP.mighty_ducks   Analysis: (win-win) EZ will waste his pick gets to grab the next hot WHL goaltending prospect we’ve never heard of (or Lehtera) and T-Man gets a player who will revert back to D on the next team he plays for (even if it’s only a reprise of “Goldberg” from the Mighty Ducks Trilogy)

Buff perfects the "Knucklepuck."

POTW – 3-way tie with the ‘tenders as Rinne, Halak, & Miller each post 8 points in goal.

Rinne, Halak, & Barney Miller celebrate their 8 points with 8 pints.
