Week 14 – 2nd Half of the Season
- Fulty expands his lead over Cordy to 3 points
- Rolphy holds onto the last money spot; Erty’s in the “break-even” spot
- Haukster had a big & consistent week (43 pts) with no zeros and no players getting more than 5 points
- Stifler had low week (19) and gets the week 14 pick-up
- Orv & Stifler are the first teams finished with bye weeks
The “charmed life” that Team Cordy was leading appears to be breaking apart as his team has had a rough go lately. The team is in turmoil. It was never more evident than in this exchange between GM Cordy and star sniper Phil Kessel. (the exchange has been slightly edited by the Team Cordy Spin Doctor Filter)
Feschuk Cordy: It’s been suggested to that you’re a difficult guy to coach is there any truth to that?
Kessel: I don’t think so but that’s a weird question for you to ask
on a day like that, you know your coach got fired
Cordy: Well you’re the best player on the team and if
the coach just got fired you’re losing to teams like T-man…
Kessel: You think it’s my fault? Is that what you’re saying?
Cordy: I’m saying
that people are saying you’re difficult to coach a douchebag
Kessel: Is that what you’re saying?
Cordy: I’m asking a question, are you
difficult to coach? a douchebag?
Kessel: I don’t think so. I play eh. This guy is such an idiot here. He’s always been like that here.
Cordy: Ya? Well you’re a (inaudible)
Suffice it to say there are deep problems on Team Cordy; problems that will need to be rectified soon if they hope to win the Trophy.
The Byfuglien Watch
He’s lining up on the blueline due to the rash of injuries to the Jets D, and many sites now have Big Daddy Buff listed as a d-man.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
It could have gone to either Varlamov CO (Erty) or Backes ST (eZ) who each had 8 points, but it goes to Backes’ team mate who lost his head
